Role: Senior// Lead Sound Designer

I owned the sound design of destruction, weapons, combat, extreme weather, and ambiences, as well as narrative elements and the games technical mix.

JC4 was an amazing project, where we had the opportunity to field record in Peru, and had hours of fantastic backgrounds and source to bring the world of Solis to life.

We also added to the game, an in vehicle radio system. We coordinated and licensed close to 80 tracks from South and Central American artists across a wide range of genres.

To accommodate so much content, we undertook a major refactor in our mix methodology, to work in the largest open world Avalanche had created yet. I spoke at GDC on the topic of complex and systemic mix design at GDC 2019.
